The Secret Girl by C.M. Stunich5/22/2023 ![]() ![]() Second, I did not really buy the whole "girl dressing as boy" premise as it was presented here. Charlotte is a huge jerk, and comes across as way younger than an older teenager with all her eye-rolling and sarcastic "humor." It made me wonder what the target audience for this books is, because the tone is juvenile, but it also spends a lot of time talking about the "hunky" teenage boys who are as swole as adult men in their prime. Reading it now, though, I must say that my reaction is one of disappointment.įirst, the writing isn't that great. Second, Aristotle argues that the practicality of Plato’s concept would inevitably lead to a weakened sense of attachment by the citizen. He believes that as a state moves toward total unification, it loses its identity as a nation, making the analogy of the unified state as a household rather than a nation. Instead, Aristotle contends that diversity in terms of experience and specialty is essential. ![]() Aristotle argues that Plato’s reasoning behind his claim (to unify the state) is illogical because, in time, all citizens will become the same, which is detrimental.
